Challenge
Create one clear website journey for customers with different cleaning needs, helping them understand the relevant service, scope and Sydney coverage before requesting a quote.
Solution
A consistent branded website with four core pages, six service categories, detailed inclusions, process information and repeated quote and phone contact options.
A cleaning website built around the decision to enquire
We built the Apex Cleaning website to give prospective customers a clear route from understanding the business to requesting a quote. The project brings the brand, service information and enquiry journey together in one consistent experience for a Sydney cleaning business.
Cleaning is a personal purchase. A customer may be handing over access to their home, arranging a rental handover or finding someone to look after an office outside business hours. The website needs to explain the work and give people enough confidence to take the next step.
The finished website addresses those decisions through a distinctive visual identity, clearly separated services, practical information and repeated opportunities to call or send a quote request. Every main page has a role in helping the visitor move forward.
The challenge was to serve different customers without losing clarity
A tenant preparing for a final inspection has a different problem from a household arranging regular cleaning. An office manager has another set of questions about access, scheduling and scope. Bringing these audiences together requires more than a broad statement that the business offers cleaning services.
Our design task was to make those choices understandable within one website. Visitors needed to recognise the service that matched their situation, see what it involved, check the areas covered and find a clear way to enquire.
We organised the experience around those questions. The homepage provides an overview, the services page adds detail, the about page explains the business’s approach, and the contact page brings the enquiry options together. This gives the website a clear structure without making visitors navigate an unnecessarily large collection of pages.
A visual identity that carries through the whole experience
The Apex identity combines a house-inspired mark with blue and aqua tones. On the website, that identity extends into prominent buttons, restrained accents and soft background panels. Dark text and generous white space give the service information room to breathe.
The opening section pairs a large, conversational headline with branded cleaning imagery. It introduces both the practical service and the trust involved in inviting a cleaner into a property. A prominent phone action and the header’s quote button give visitors two immediate ways to respond.
We kept the presentation consistent across the homepage, service information and contact journey. The visual hierarchy makes headings easy to locate and calls to action easy to distinguish from supporting information. That consistency is part of making the business feel organised before a customer has spoken to anyone.

Six service categories with enough detail to make a choice
The website separates its offer into six categories: end of lease and bond cleaning; regular home and apartment cleaning; deep spring and move-in cleaning; commercial and office cleaning; carpet steam and upholstery cleaning; and window and balcony glass cleaning.
On the homepage, image-led cards give visitors an overview of each service. On the services page, those categories expand into descriptions, inclusions and examples of the problems customers commonly need help with.
This structure connects the customer’s situation to a relevant service. Someone concerned about a rental handover can find the end of lease section. A business arranging workplace cleaning can move directly to the commercial section. Visitors can understand the available options before starting a conversation.
The service page also provides navigation anchors and questions people may ask before booking. Those details give the page a useful role beyond listing services: it helps customers prepare a more informed enquiry.

The quote journey gives customers a clear next step
The enquiry form asks for a name, mobile number, email address, suburb or postcode, and the service required. An optional notes field lets the customer add context about the property or job.
These fields give an enquiry more structure than a generic message box. The service selection identifies the type of work being requested, while the location field provides useful context for assessing coverage. Customers can add detail without facing a long compulsory questionnaire.
The form is available across the main pages, so visitors can enquire after reading the information that matters to them. Click-to-call links offer another route for people who prefer speaking to the business.
The design makes both routes visible. It supports different levels of readiness: someone who already knows what they need can act quickly, while someone still comparing options can explore the services and return to the form.

Reassurance is placed alongside the customer journey
The homepage includes sections explaining how the service works, the business’s approach, customer reviews and service coverage. The about page provides further context, while the services page includes answers to common booking questions.
We placed this information within the journey rather than relying on one isolated about page to establish confidence. A visitor can read about the process, understand the service and see how to make contact in the same session.
The four-step process section describes the sequence from an initial request through a written quote, cleaning visit and final walkthrough. Explaining that sequence makes the next step more concrete for someone who has not used the business before.
The review and reassurance sections provide space for client-approved evidence and service commitments. Their value comes from showing relevant, accurate information close to the decision to enquire. They should reflect the business’s actual operations and verified customer feedback.

Sydney coverage and connected navigation
The homepage and contact page make the service area visible, with references to Sydney CBD, the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, Western Sydney, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Hills District and Sutherland Shire.
That information helps visitors assess whether the business is relevant to their location. The suburb or postcode field then carries that context into the enquiry itself.
The website also connects its main pages through consistent navigation and footer links. Individual service anchors let visitors move to the section they need, while page titles identify the purpose of the homepage, services, about and contact pages.
This gives the business a useful foundation for future content and local search work. The website’s geographic relevance and clear structure support that foundation; search visibility still depends on ongoing work and measured performance.
The delivered result
The result is a cohesive website that presents Apex Cleaning’s brand, explains its service range and offers a consistent route to a quote request. Four core pages work together to answer different customer questions without breaking the visual experience.
The implementation uses Next.js, with responsive layout rules and image optimisation visible in the delivered site. The customer-facing value is a clear page structure, service-specific content and contact options that remain part of the journey.
The tangible deliverables are six service categories, detailed service information, an enquiry form across the main pages, click-to-call links, coverage information and sections for process and customer proof.
This is a case study of the website delivered. Post-launch traffic, qualified enquiries and booking outcomes have not been established here. Those measures would show how the website performs commercially over time.
What this project demonstrates
A useful service-business website does more than introduce a company. It helps a visitor understand whether the offer fits their situation and makes the next step easy to find.
For Apex Cleaning, that meant connecting a recognisable identity with detailed service information and a straightforward enquiry journey. The design choices work together: the brand creates a consistent first impression, the service structure explains the offer, and the forms and phone links give visitors a way to act.
If your website leaves customers unsure about what you do, where you work or how to request a quote, the same questions are a useful place to start.
